Southern legacy
14 days / 13 nights
Few regions in the world have the diversity of South America. On this tour, you will go through dramatically changing geographies, but all as impressive. The first stop is Santiago de Chile, travel through this modern metropolis in a city tour and marvel at the imposing mountains that watch over it. Visit the Valleys of the Moon and Death in the Atacama Desert, the driest place in the world, and explore its otherworldly landscapes. Return to Santiago to embark to Lima, where you will get to know its modern, colonial and pre-Hispanic side.
Continue to the Capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco and its surroundings, to connect with the mysticism and traditions of the Andes. From Cusco, travel to Puno and sail through Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, and get to know its islands and friendly inhabitants. The next destination is La Paz, Bolivia.
